well I am rubber - and I am glue
and what I say just isn’t true
the green outside - the violet too
but I just can’t stand the blue
I walk outside – and see a cloud
and I then I say the word with my whole mouth
it tastes funny – so then I see
if I can try try try something else

the falling leaves – are flying moths
and without a light they seem to stop
some questions fall – like birds from trees
and always rise into the breeze

I measure my life in one-year leases
